OBBBAtips.us aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all production routes. Tax content is YMYL — accessibility is a baseline requirement, not a feature.

Color contrast is WCAG-AA-verified for every text-on-background pair used in production. Documented restrictions (sub-AA pairs reserved for non-text decorative use only) are published in the brand-identity reference.

  • Skip-link as first focusable element on every page.
  • Semantic landmarks (header, main, footer, nav, section) on every page.
  • aria-live="polite" on the decoder output card; never aria-live="assertive" (would announce intra-tick changes on assistive tech).
  • Focus-visible amber ring on every interactive element. Never outline:none without a replacement.
  • prefers-reduced-motion respected — animation duration collapsed to 0.01ms when set.
  • No popups. No exit-intent. No auto-play. No countdown panic.
  • Tabular figures on every numeric output for predictable column alignment in the show-the-math breakdown.
